Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Michelin-recognized Antler Kitchen Bar in Toronto. Inspired by Antler's aim to bring the most of Canada’s local flora and fauna to the dinner plate, we wanted to make sure we used 85% locally sourced malt and 100% locally sourced hops.
What You’ll Love About It
A Czech lager is usually characterized by its richer flavour and fuller body compared to other lagers, and comprise a large amount of Munich malt.
How It's Made
What we made is a dark lager to complement the autumn and winter yields that come from across the province. The perfect beer to enjoy with roasts and stews (and tacos!).
What's with the name?
Seasoned outdoorsman, hunter, and angler Michael Hunter shares his passion for nature, hunting wild food, and cooking outside.
His dishes feature freshwater fish (bass, trout, walleye, salmon), saltwater fish (tuna, swordfish, halibut, salmon, ling cod), seafood (clams, lobster, octopus, mussels, geoduck), fowl and small game (snow goose, pintail duck, quail, pheasant, rabbit), and large game (bison, wild boar, muskox, elk, deer, bear, beaver), along with vegetables, and cocktails and desserts fit for a campfire.
